It is important that if a Care recipient is inactive on Careplanner this is reflected in Birdie, this will reduce missed medication and visit alerts. Birdie pulls the status of Care professionals and Care recipients from Careplanner helping you to reduce any of these alerts.
How to make a Care professional inactive
To ensure Care professionals are set to 'inactive' in Birdie, their status needs to be changed to an 'Ex-Employee' status. You can update the carer status here https://{your-org}.care-planner.co.uk/admin/config/careplanner-carers/status/statuses
Top tip: The statuses in green will reflect as 'active' in Birdie, whilst the ones in red will show as 'inactive' on the Birdie agency hub.
How to make a Care recipient inactive
To ensure Care recipients are set to 'inactive' in Birdie, their status needs to be updated using one of the 'Ex-Client' statuses below.
Please also ensure that your Care recipient is not set as an 'Organisation' in CarePlanner or we will not be able to synchronise their status.
