How to add the same family member to more than one care circle
If you try to add a family member who already exists on Birdie you will see an alert come up like in the image below.
Birdie uses mobile numbers to authenticate the family app. This is why they need to be unique to each member. Luckily, We can add these for you!
Please get in touch with us using our support chat. You can find support by clicking on the green icon on the bottom left-hand side of the Agency Hub.
How to edit or remove a Care Circle member
If you need to remove someone from the care circle, Start by going to the care recipients' Care circle tab and selecting the person you would like to remove. From here click Remove.
From this page, you can also edit their information if needed.
They will no longer show as a NoK on the Birdie app or have access to the Care Circle app.
Adding a Care Professional to the care circle
On Birdie, we use mobile numbers as unique identifiers. This means that if the Care Professional's number is already on the system as a team member, they will not be able to be added to a Care Recipient profile as a Care Circle member.
What you can do is:
Add a different number for the Care Professional and use that for the care circle instead.
Use the Invite Care Recipient to view own notes method- This is mainly used by the Care Recipient themselves or close family members who do not have mobile phone access, it allows them to see personal information via a web browser. For more info, read this article- How to invite Care Recipients to view their own digital care notes.
Download the care logs and email them to the Care Professional.
