You can use a body map to display where and how medication should be administered, this ensures the information on the Care recipient's medication schedule is accurate, reducing any risk of error. Furthermore, it gives Care Professionals more confidence and context when out in the field delivering care.
How to add a body map to a care recipient’s medication schedule

Start by creating or editing a medication schedule, if you need more help on how to do this, please see the article before you begin- How to add a medication schedule for your care recipient.
You can only create a body map for scheduled and PRN cutaneous medications, once you have filled in the above information select create body map in the additional instructions section.
A pop-up box will appear where you can click the general area of the body that requires a body map.
You have the option to specify where the medication should be added and select parts of the body or the entire body part. You can add as many body parts as necessary to the one body map.
Include any additional instructions for your Care professionals and click Save when you are done.
When you have completed the body map click Save again, you will now see this in the additional instructions section.
Please note: It is not currently possible to download the body map from the agency hub, if you need to download it, you will need to screenshot the page and add it to another document.
How to edit or delete a body map
If you need to remove a body map, find the medication schedule that is associated with it and click the Edit button.
Scroll down to the additional instructions section and select either edit or delete.
How can Care Professionals access the body maps on their app?
Care professionals can access a body map you add during their visit, they will check in as normal and tap the Medication tab.
Here they can view all the medications they need to sign off on, If the medication has a body map attached to it, the care professional will have to view the body map before recording the dosage.
