At Birdie, we are passionate about leveraging data to help you deliver higher quality and more efficient care. Our Q-Score summary has been a one-stop report to show your strengths and opportunities in providing this.

As we continue to enhance the Birdie Platform with new features, the original Q-Score is no longer as comprehensive as it once was. That's why we're excited to introduce Q-Score 2.0.

Q-Score 2.0 offers more detailed insights into how your score is calculated, along with enhanced visualisations of the data. These improvements provide a clearer, more nuanced understanding of your performance, empowering you to make better-informed decisions and drive continuous improvement in care quality.

Please note: When moving to Q-Score 2.0 your existing data will not be lost.

These are the five major upgrades in the Q-Score 2.0 compared to its predecessor:

  1. New metrics have been added to reflect the additional functionality now available on Birdie across all product areas. This includes assessment completion, finance efficiency and note-taking.

  2. Less relevant metrics have been removed, such as the metric expecting all clients to have at least 3 task schedules and task schedules to be updated every 100 days.

  3. Category names have been updated to match the language used across Birdie. For example, the categories of ‘Care Excellence’, ‘Operational Excellence’ and ‘Empowered Care Teams’ are three of the pillars through which Birdie adds value to your business.

  4. Greater clarity on how metrics are calculated. The percentage values of each metric are shown along with the score rating so you can see exactly what to focus on in order to improve your score.

  5. Carer and client-level drill-downs. This gives even more direction on exactly where to focus.

These changes will make it even easier for you to efficiently deliver high-quality care.
