How to View a Care Recipient's Upcoming Visits on the Birdie App

Your Care Professionals can now view who will be visiting the Care Recipient next which ensures a successful handover

Please note: This feature is available to all Birdie packages except those who are on Care Management-only package and those who use an external integration provider such as Careplanner, Staffplan, Caras etc.

Your Care Professionals can now view who will be visiting a Care Recipient. We understand that sometimes Care Recipients want to know who they will next be visited by and when. Care Professionals can now access this information ensuring they can relay the latest information to the Care Recipient and promote successful handovers. 


​You will have default access to view the next visit for a Care Recipient. If you would like to extend the view for the next 7 days please contact our support team via live chat or [email protected].

Please note: Once the feature is enabled, carers may need to refresh their app to see changes.

How to use this feature

Start by logging into your Birdie app, now click on the Clients tab at the bottom of the page. Click on the Care Recipient you would like to view upcoming visit details for.

You will then see the following information:

  • The date of the next visit

  • The time of the next visit

  • The Care Professional attending

  • See the next visit (or if enabled, see all upcoming visits over the next 7 days)

If the visit has not been allocated yet it will show as 'not yet allocated'.

Changes to the schedule will automatically update if your phone is online and connected to the internet, you can refresh the page to ensure you’re relaying up-to-date details.
