Please note: This is available on the majority of Birdie packages, excluding Care Management only packages and Care Management and Rostering packages. Please get in touch if interested in more information on this feature!
There may be scenarios where certain Care Professionals and Care Recipients should not be assigned together for a visit. Whatever the reason may be, Birdie has made it quick and easy to block a Care Professional from being assigned to a Care Recipient. This is helpful when using the templating features and ensures a safe visit for everyone involved.
You can revoke access via the Team or Client tab, the process is the same for both.
Via the Clients tab
Select the Care Recipient and click on the Care Team tab. Find the Care Professional you would like to block and click on the three dots alongside their name.
You can bulk-select by ticking the Carer box.
Click the three dots and select Decline carer to block them from being matched to the Care Recipient and click Apply changes.
You can Decline a Care Professional and have them remain as Viewers to the care recipients' data however if you also want to remove the viewer status select Revoke view access and Decline carer and click Apply changes.
If the Care Recipient and the Care Professional are scheduled together again then the Care Professional will become a viewer again.
This will now stop a Care Professional from being scheduled with that Care Recipient and will not include the Care Professional as a suggestion for certain visits. It will also unallocate the Care Professional from any visits that they have already been assigned to with that Care Recipient.
