How To Change The Order Of Tasks & Medications In The Activity List - Upgraded Rostering

By ordering the tasks you can make it clear to the carers when to give medications and when to complete certain tasks. This is useful if your client has medications that need to be given before food, for example, you can arrange for them to appear before a 'meal' task. This ensures your plans are effective and caring.

Changing the order of tasks & medications for a whole schedule

You can change the order of tasks and medications for an entire activity list, when this is then linked to a visit schedule the activity list order will be the same for every visit it is linked to.

First, go to the client's Activity Template tab. Find the activity list you want to rearrange and click the arrows to show the full task and medication list.

To change the order, drag and drop the task or medication up and down the list.

You will see a pop-up box confirming your actions and reminding you that this task order will apply to every visit the activity list has been linked to.


Changing the order of tasks & medications for a single visit

Alternatively, you can change the order of tasks and medications for a single visit. You may want to do this if a particular visit requires a one-off change which will not be repeated.

To do this, go to the client's Activity Calendar tab. Find the visit on the specific day that you want to change the activity list for.

Click the arrows on the visit and drag and drop the task or medication up and down the list.

You will see a pop-up confirming your actions and a reminder that this will only affect the selected day.
