Please note: The following feature is available for all of Birdie’s packages.

You can easily create an in-app banner that Care Professionals can view on their Birdie app. This will allow you to quickly contact all your Care Professionals at once and make them aware of any relevant health and support information.

How to create an in-app message

Start by clicking on your initials in the top right-hand corner, on the drop-down menu select Carer App message.

From this page, you can:

  1. Choose the title for your message- keep it to 25 characters or less

  2. Add more details- expand your message for your Care Professionals in this section. e.g. "Remember to carry a water bottle with you in the warm weather''

  3. Choose a call to action- Give care professionals the option to find out more information, after they have read the message you can direct them to a website or a phone number

  4. Choose the severity level- here you can select the severity level of your message and this will be reflected by the colour on the carer app

  5. Turn message on/off- use this button to toggle this message on or off

Once you are done, click Save message and your message will be seen on the Birdie app.

Please note: you can only have one in-app message showing at a time

How to edit or delete an in-app message

If you need to edit an in-app message you can make any of the changes above and click Save message again. This will then update the message on the app, alternatively, you can toggle the message off if you temporarily need it removed and then toggle it back on when you would like it to show again.

If you would like to delete the in-app message click the Remove Message button.
